Vacancy - Marketing Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Marketing individual to join Andersons Solicitors, to facilitate and lead business development initiatives and marketing functions across the firm.

Duties include:

  • Working with the different departments to prepare and deliver the marketing plans on time and on budget on an annual basis
  • Control and planning of the Marketing Budget including co-ordinating invoices and maintaining a central record of marketing expenditure
  • Responsible for the full marketing mix including: advertising, PR, literature/e-newsletters, events
  • Identifying new opportunities and devising appropriate communication channels including: direct mail campaigns, e-shots, PR, trade press etc.
  • Managing and editing the company website to ensure accurate and ‘legally’ up-to-date content which is SEO driven
  • Measuring the website queries against conversion
  • Identifying new technology that can be used to communicate to existing clients and to target new clients
  • Cross selling internally and externally ensuring monitoring all business leads/prospects from all sources and keeping accurate records
  • Database management
  • Networking & building relationships with referrers and clients ensuring a ‘non’ fee earner point of contact

Technical ability:

  • Previous experience of working in Professional Services preferably Legal
  • Experience in Microsoft Office (word/excel/powerpoint/outlook/ publisher)
  • Preferably degree level or studying towards CIM qualifications
  • Experience of managing to tight deadlines and to a professional standard
  • Knowledge of Windows Live Writer & Joomla are desirable but not essential
  • Knowledge of Twitter, Blogging, SEO, LinkedIn, podcasting is desirable but not essential

Personal requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate across all levels both internally and externally
  • A flexible approach to both work situations and working hours. You will occasionally be required to work outside of the normal office hours
  • The ability to develop good working relationships demonstrating a ‘can do’ approach
  • Design & PR experience is desirable
  • Experience with working with external agencies is desirable
