Representation
at Employment Appeal Tribunals - Employee
If the
Industrial Tribunal makes a decision ( which will have been put into writing ) which is wrong in law, then an appeal may be made to the E.A.T. Legal Aid may be available for
the preparation for the hearing and for the hearing itself, depending on financial circumstances and the merits of the case. For that reason, probably more than any other the
parties are more often represented by a solicitor or barrister than in the case before the Industrial Tribunals although non-legally qualified people sit to assist him or her,
it is a High Court Judge who will be dealing with the case.
Expert representation to protect your interests could well, therefore be vital!!! |
