Short-term rented property scam

Please be aware that without our permission or authority the Andersons Solicitors name and logo is being used as part of a scam for renting short term property.

The vast majority of people targeted reside outside of the UK and require a UK property for personal use for a short period of time. The alleged contact names used are Victorianne Maxwell, James Anderson & Venus Hughes. Neither of these individuals work at Andersons Solicitors. Many of these properties are advertised on Gumtree.

Please DO NOT pass any money to them, please check first before making payment. Andersons Solicitors cannot be liable for any losses occasioned to any individual as a result of this scam as we have no involvement with it. The Metropolitan Police in the UK are aware of this scam and are investigating it.
